With salaries being set each Monday, they cannot be changed. Injuries and depth chart movement has impacted the value of these players salary significantly.
- Najee Harris has a great matchup against the Lions this week. Since week 1, Harris has been as consistent as they come and a lock for 20+ touches. The Lions have been terrible against running backs this season, allowing the 2nd most points to the position in the league. Expect a massive game out of the rookie this week
- Another steal at their price is James Connor, who now that Chase Edmonds has gone down with injury, is the clear workhorse back in this Cardinals offense. He ended up seeing 77% of the snaps and 26 touches without Edmonds. Should Kyler sit again, it honestly might improve his value this week even more, as the offense will run more screens and check downs, mostly going to Connor. If the Cardinals didn’t have a tough matchup against the Panthers I’d have him inside the top 10.
- The Football Team backfield is an interesting one this week. Due to the matchup, I’d rather start J.D. Mckissic than Antonio Gibson even. I expect the Bucs to get out to an early lead and force the Football Team into almost exclusively passing situations from very on in the game. Also if they were smart, they wouldn’t run the ball at all to begin with. The Bucs secondary is very beaten up while the rushing defense is one of the best. Expect plenty of receptions for Mckissic and very few carries for Gibson.
