Best Super Bowl 57 Prop Bets to Lock in for Chiefs vs Eagles

Prop bets have become one of the more popular bets in the betting market, regardless of sport. From national anthem bets to generic player props, the Super Bowl is covered from every angle in the prop market. It is easy to get caught up in halftime props and Gatorade color but I’m going to focus on the players here, diving into a few of the best Super Bowl 57 prop bets for Sunday.

This showdown features two high-powered offenses and when you think of the 2022 Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs, points may come to mind. These teams finished ranked first and third in points per game this season and if that doesn’t excite you for this matchup, I don’t know what will. Kansas City Chiefs Prop Betting

The Chiefs are coming into this game as short underdogs but I think they may actually have a better prop market to take advantage of. The first player I am focused on is wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling. Coming off his best performance of the season, I expect the chemistry between him and Mahomes to carry-over into this matchup against the Eagles. With the focus of the Eagles defense being on Travis Kelce, I like to ability of Valdes-Scantling to stretch the field. The Chiefs and their offense know they will have to hit a few home run plays to win this game and at 35.5 receiving yards, MVS could surpass this number in one play. Not to mention, he is far and away the healthiest receiver Mahomes has at his disposal.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling caught six passes for 116 yards and a touchdown last night. Three of those receptions moved the chains on third down.

The other focus for me in this Chiefs offense is a little bit longer of odds, coming form the touchdown scorer market.  With a team total of 25.5, the Chiefs are expected to score and one guy I like to get in the end zone at his odds is Isiah Pacheco.  Sitting at +140 odds to score, the rookie running back has been seeing an increased role throughout the playoffs and if the Chiefs end up winning this game, Pacheco will be a huge reason why.  In the AFC Championship game, Pacheco had a season high snap share where he bested Jerrick McKinnon 56.1% to 39.4%.  Pacheco has become a primary playmaker both Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs can rely on and with his projected role on Sunday, +140 is most definitely worth a bet.

Philadelphia Eagles Prop Betting

The Eagles are coming into this game averaging 34.5 points per game in the playoffs and should be able to stay relatively hot against the Chiefs defense. When looking through the prop market, I was attracted by the Eagles receiving threats as they should have a much higher output here than they have had in the playoffs thus far. The Eagles have blown out their first two opponents with quarterback Jalen Hurts throwing for only 154 and 121 yards.

Sunday, I believe that changes. With that being said, I am not going to their top guys, rather, I am looking at receiver Quez Watkins. With a receiving yards line of 12.5, Watkins is another guy who is in position to hit his over with one catch. The game flow will present a guy like Watkins with more opportunity which could result in a breakout performance. Watkins had 40 snaps in the NFC title game but with a negative game script, his opportunities were limited. So, while AJ Brown, DeVonta Smith, Dallas Goedert and Miles Sanders get all the attention, lock in Quez Watkins to surpass 12.5 receiving yards in what is expected to be a close game.
