With salaries being set each Monday, they cannot be changed. Injuries and depth chart movement has impacted the value of these players salary significantly.
- Jalen Hurts seems to still be getting disrespected from both a real life and fantasy perspective. He continues to progress as a passer and has been dominant on the ground. He’s got either 60 yards rushing or multiple rushing touchdowns in all but 2 games this season, providing a very safe floor for him on a weekly basis. This Giants defense has been atrocious recently, so Hurts has the upside to have another blowup week.
- Josh Allen on the other hand is a bit overrated. The Bills go into New Orleans on a short week, which is never an easy place to play. This game feels like a low scoring battle and Josh Allen really hasn’t been himself lately, throwing just 4 touchdown passes to 5 interceptions over his last 3 weeks. You’ll likely have to start him this week anyway, but I’m definitely going to be avoiding him in salary cap contests.
- Another guy you should continue to avoid until we see otherwise is Russell Wilson. He has been terrible since coming back from injury, as he still hasn’t even thrown a touchdown pass. You may be inclined to start him due to the easy matchup against the Football Team, but it feels like a trap to me. We need to get back to seeing the old Russell Wilson before I’m willing to start him again in 1QB leagues or salary cap contests.
