- Read below for three players to target in NFL DFS contests
NFL Week 16 is here and I’m going to give you some super flex options to anchor your lineups. For builds at the super flex position, I like leaving it up to you guys if you want to take a second QB, another RB or another pass catcher. Here I am going to give you an option at all 3 positions and have you make up your mind. Here are the 3 players to take in your OwnersBox week 16 NFL DFS lineups.
These players will also be priority targets when playing the new Lightning Lineups game on OwnersBox. Lightning Lineups is a unique user-vs-house game where the player is presented with three lineups of three players each. If you don’t like the lineups presented to you, you can spin the wheel to generate new matchups. All you have to do is select the lineup you think will score the most fantasy points. You can increase your payout by adding more opponent lineups and earn up to 6x your money!
Dalvin Cook $6,600 vs Giants
Dalvin Cook put up big time numbers last week, in a game script that on paper didn’t look like it would be favorable at all, with being down 33 points at half time to the lowly Indianapolis Colts. Now he gets a juicy matchup against the piss poor Giants run defense. The run defense just barely edges out the Packers run defense in the Rush DVOA ranks for last place. Dalvin is the 4th highest priced back on the slate, but after a great output last week, I think he can return to form again in Week 16.
Oh My God!

One thing that surprised me about Cook’s numbers, is how often he runs routes. He ranks 2nd in both routes run and route participation. He ranks 17th in receptions, but if you’re on the field running routes on passing downs, threes always a chance you get the ball, and that’s huge in PPR. He ranks 3rd in snap share, 4th in opportunity share, 5th in carries, and 4th in red zone touches. He does lead the league in stuffed runs, but he isn’t going up against a great front, so we don’t have to worry.
Daniel Jones $6,200 @ Vikings
Daniel Jones is not a name I have written about this whole season, and has gotten away from the things that people praised him for in the early goings of the season. The Vikings are middle of the pack as a rush defense, and with Saquon losing some juice at the end of the season, it’s nice to see that the Vikings have one of the worst pass defenses in the league. Having a QB that can make plays through the air and on the ground is super nice to have in DFS.

Daniel Jones ranks 3rd in true completion percentage, 4th in red zone completion percentage and 5th in passer rating vs Zone. The throwing stats aren’t incredible, but what he can do with his feet is what has me interested in him this week. He ranks 5th in carries, 4th in red zone carries, 5th in rushing yards and 4th in rushing touchdowns. The Giants are successful when they can get Daniel Jones moving his feet, and this is a good spot to be solid through the air as well. I like Jones as a super flex option this week, and surely nothing can go wrong.
Gabe Davis $5,000 @ Bears
Everyone’s favorite preseason argument, is in a smash spot against the Bears after a few duds in a row. It has been over 4 weeks since Davis has had a game with over 10 fantasy points, and that was with a huge game against the Vikings, who we know are bad from a Pass DVOA stand point. Unfortunately for the Bears, they are worse than the Vikings pass D, and will have troubles stopping the Bills through the air.
Davis is a boom or bust player. Largely helped by catching touchdowns, and big plays, his ADOT being 14.9 yards show how much they like to get it to him deep. Davis creates good separation and has run the 4th most routes in the league against man coverage and the 4th most yards per reception. He is in a good spot against a bad Bears team, so I’m willing to take my chances with Gabe Davis.
