- It’s time to start crafting your NFL DFS lineups for week 2
- OwnersBox $100K Sunday Smash contest is available for Ontario DFS players
- Read below for three undervalued players you need to target in NFL DFS
Week 2 is here, and it turns out we knew nothing about football once again. I have had a personal chat with the risk team as I believe we have lost some of the value as the prices have been bumped up across the board, but I have found 3 players that I think are good values to play in your NFL DFS lineups for the OwnersBox Week 2 $100K Sunday Smash contest.
These players will also be priority targets when playing the new Lightning Lineups game on OwnersBox. Lightning Lineups is a unique user-vs-house game where the player is presented with three lineups of three players each. If you don’t like the lineups presented to you, you can spin the wheel to generate new matchups. All you have to do is select the lineup you think will score the most fantasy points. You can increase your payout by adding more opponent lineups and earn up to 6x your money!
Paris Campbell (WR) – $4,100 @ Jaguars
Paris Campbell put up a pretty pedestrian line in Week 1 against the Texans. The Wideout caught 3 passes on 4 targets for 37 yards. I think the fundamental change that happens is that Alec Pierce most likely isn’t going to play in Week 2 due to a concussion, so Paris Campbell should be a focal point of the offense after Jonathon Taylor and Michael Pittman Jr.
The Jaguars defense was one of the worst against the pass in Week 1. The Commanders threw the ball 60% of the time which was right around league average, but gave up 305 yards through the air to the tune of 7.4 yards per pass. Paris Campbell was second most among WRs at 69 (NICE).
Paris Campbell is a big play threat, and if Matt Ryan finds a way to get him the ball deep, he has the opportunity to take the top off this Jaguars defense and find a way to score. He’s currently listed as a WR4 in our week 2 positional rankings.

Juwan Johnson (TE) – $4,300 vs Buccaneers
Juwan Johnson ran a ton of routes for the Saints in Week 1. Against the Falcons he had a 78% route participation on drop-backs (top 10) 12.4 yard aDot (top 10) 76.4% of snaps were at WR (top 10) 5 targets (top 12) per @CoopAFiasco.
Looking at the film, Juwan Johnson has looked much improved as a blocker as well, which should keep him on the field for a lot more of the game. If he is demanding the ball for a top 10 rate at the tight end position, but is being priced at the TE21 on OwnersBox, then we should be adding him to our lineups at this value.
#Saints Targets:
9: Jarvis Landry (28% share)
8: Michael Thomas (25%) 📈
5: Juwan Johnson (16%) 📈
4: Alvin Kamara (12%) 📉📉📉
3: Chris Olave (9%)— Bet the Prop (@bettheprop) September 14, 2022
Juwan Johnson should be able to have a big game, in this super aggressive Saints offense, and I love the spot for him here and for him to find his way into the endzone.
Jeff Wilson Jr. (RB) – $4,600 vs Seahawks
Anytime you can get the lead back in the Kyle Shanahan offense you need to jump on it, especially when it’s at a reduced cost. Per Dave Kluge “Excluding a 2018 game where Jeff Wilson Jr. was knocked out in the first quarter with a shoulder injury, he’s started in 8 career games for the 49ers. Per-game averages: 18.6 carries 90.3 rushing yards 2.5 targets 9.5 receiving yards 1 TD 17.6 PPR fantasy points.”

Last week, the Broncos ran the ball the 7th least in the league against the Seahawks, but they ran it at 5.2 yards per rush which is bottom 8 in the NFL on the defensive side. The weather for this game is calling for a ton of rain which should lead the Niners to running the ball more in this game script.
