The launch date has finally been released, and Kansas online sports betting is expected to launch on September 1st. What this means is that Kansas’ four casinos can operate as retail sportsbooks and have the option to partner with online sites.
Many sportsbooks will also be effective in the state which means fans can place their bets online too.
What Kansas Sports Betting Apps Will Be Available?
As of September 1st, Kansas’ four casinos will operate as retail sportsbooks where fans can place their in-person bets. However, there will also be a variety of different sportsbooks available to fans so they can bet online. A few of the major sportsbooks that fans can expect to see in Kansas are Barstool, BetMGM, Caesars, DraftKings Sportsbook, and FanDuel. Although this is just a small list of sportsbooks there are more likely to come.

Back in May 2022, BallyBet and DraftKings announced their official partnership with one of Kansas’ four casinos. Boot Hill Casino and Resort has teamed up with BallyBet and DraftKings to operate as a retail sportsbook for sports fans to come and place their bets in person.
BallyBet and DraftKings took up two of three licenses the Casino holds. So, there is potential for one more sportsbook to come in and become a third partner.
