Not all heroes wear capes
Heinz is the hero we didn’t know we needed. In the midst of a global pandemic, Heinz is asking real hard-hitting questions. Why do hotdogs and hotdog bun packs come in different numbers?
Now if you’ve ever hosted a BBQ you may have faced this issue. Hotdogs come in packs of 10, while the hotdog buns come in packs of 8, forcing you to buy two packs of buns, that you won’t even use. No one just eats hot dog buns without the hot dog. I’d actually probably rank hotdog buns as my least favorite type of bread.
If you are having trouble wrapping your head around why Heinz is taking action, watch this video of Steve Martin.
The packaging mismatch has upset fans for many years and it is time to fight back. Heinz, otherwise known as the king of condiment has brought light to this issue. They said enough is enough. The company started a petition to raise awareness of the uneven hotdog numbers. They want to sell hotdogs and hotdogs in the same number. 10 and 10, the perfect number. And, yes, this really is a thing.
Why do packs of hot dog buns and wieners come in different sizes? Let’s fix that. Sign the petition at https://t.co/P0qirqTR6m #HeinzHotDogPact pic.twitter.com/98Fy3KiFDX

They are calling on the big hotdog companies and big hotdog buns companies and demanding change. The petition already has 4100 signatures and Heinz is looking for 5000. The fact that is a real thing is both amazing and absurd at the same time.
Ownersbox, a company that loves office BBQs will be getting behind this movement. Attached is the link to the petition, if you want to sign.
