My Bold Predictions for the 2021 NFL Season
As NFL Week 1 approaches, I have decided to weigh in on all the hype surrounding this season. To the best of my NFL knowledge, I present to you my 2021 predictions. You will either love them or absolutely hate them. But that’s what makes these predictions fun. By the end of the season, I will have one of these two responses for you. (1) Say I told you so when the prediction happens or (2) say how was I supposed to know, it was a prediction.
Cowboys will make the Super Bowl
The season opener begins tomorrow night with the reigning champ Buccaneers, and not-so reigning champs, the Cowboys. So insight of this, I have made my first prediction. Cowboys will make the Super Bowl. I feel like this year you’re either riding the Cowboys or fading anything to do with them. I’ve decided to hop on the Cowboy train with Dak and Zeke who will hopefully carry us all the way to champion town.
Justin Fields will be Rookie of the Year
Bye-bye, Andy. Hello Fields. I think Andy Dalton will play one maybe two games before Rookie of the Year (manifesting this), Justin Fields steps in to save the Bears. Dalton is unfortunately past his prime. His stats are just getting worse and worse every year. Whereas Fields has only one way to go…which is up. Justin Fields will eventually become QB1 and will perform as so. He will be the best QB out of the ’21 rookie class.
Trevor Lawrence will be a bust
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, there is something about the hype of Trevor Lawrence that doesn’t seem to add up for me. I think Trevor Lawrence will for sure be a top contender for QB, but I don’t think he will perform at the level that is set for him. Especially now with Etienne out for the year. The Jags defense is not that great and Lawrence will be taking a lot of that heat from that.
Jerry Jeudy will be a top 5 WR
My guy. Judge Jeudy. I think Jerry Jeudy will have a breakout year this season. People are going to underestimate him because they might think “well who will throw to him?”. But I think Jeudy will have opportunities to prove himself as a top WR. I also think he holds great fantasy potential. He’s been a shining star in practice this year for the Broncos.
Josh Allen wins MVP
The Bills this year are looking good as Super Bowl contenders. The only tough hurdle for them is beating the Chiefs in the playoffs. I think the Bills will be back to finish what they started last season. Last year was their most successful in years with 13-3 record and an AFC East title. The Bills have gotten into stride, and if there is any year for the Bills to win it’s this year with Josh Allen carrying the team.
