Ohio Online Sports Betting Licenses
It was revealed yesterday that there has been a total of 850 applications from sports books, companies, and just about anyone interested in Ohio sports betting. Applications are still open for any hopeful license applicants, but only until August 15. That being said, not all applicants will be receiving the same license.
For example, Type A and Type B licenses allow its holder to both in person or at retail locations, as well as online. Whereas a Type C license only allows its holder to operate at a self-service or clerk operated kiosk. There are many more licenses that applicants can apply for. However these are the licenses most sportsbooks such as Caesars, DraftKings, and other big name books will be applying for.
