Should Jackson Mahomes be banned from NFL games?
If you have TikTok and are even somewhat a football fan, you probably know of Jackson Mahomes. And if you don’t know who he is, Jackson Mahomes is the brother of Chiefs quarterback, Patrick Mahomes. He is famously known for piggy-backing onto his brother’s fame but only to do TikTok dances. His TikTok mostly consists of dancing and asking if any girls wanna go to a game with him.
At first, Jackson Mahomes dancing was all fun and games, but has he gone too far?
On Sunday, the Kansas Chiefs played the Washington Football Team. But this game was a special one for Washington as they were retiring Sean Taylors number. Taylor, a safety for the Football Team was shot and killed at 24 in 2007. This day was to honor his success and was a special day for his family and friends.
In light of this day, the franchise painted his number on the sidelines and it was gated off with rope. This in itself should give any person the indication that this spot has an important meaning to the WFT. But not for Jackson Mahomes, he thought “this is a great spot for a TikTok”. Well cue, the disrespect.
Jackson Mahomes really out here making a TikTok on top of Sean Taylor's number the day it gets retired.. unbelievable, man. Have a little bit of respect. pic.twitter.com/s9HOvWEPlR

Jackson Mahomes received major backlash after this Tiktok and he deleted it right after. He also issued an apology via Twitter.
I want to sincerely apologize for accidentally being on the Sean Taylor #21 at FedEx Field. We were directed to stand in that area and I meant absolutely no disrespect to him or his family.

Imagine winning an NFL game 31-13, and your brother is the one in the headlines on Monday morning.
This isn’t Jackson Mahomes first incident at a game though. A few works ago, Jackson threw water on a Ravens fan after the Chiefs lost. He claims “they were thirsty”.

At this point, Jackson Mahomes is just trying to one-up his brother. Personally, I think Jackson Mahomes is just suffering from youngest child syndrome. As the youngest child, you think you are entitled to about anything you want. You also LOVE to be the center of attention. And well when your brother is a star QB, you aren’t the center of attention anymore.
Listen, I get it. As a younger sibling, I would also ride my sibling’s coat tail all the way to fame. But Jackson Mahomes just needs to be smart about it. Leave your dancing TikTok to the stands, your water bottles in the cup holders, and you’ll be just fine.
