- The New Orleans Saints and Arizona Cardinals meet on Thursday Night Football this week
- Alvin Kamara will be a focus in the prop market this week
- Read below for our breakdown of the best Thursday Night Football betting props
Welcome to NFL Week 7! To kick things off on Thursday night, we have the Saints and Cardinals in a big game for both teams, both coming off week 6 losses. The Saints weren’t able to come out on top in a close game late against the Bengals, and the Cardinals looked absolutely horrific on Sunday, failing to score a touchdown against the Seahawks, who boast the 2nd worst scoring defense in the NFL.
As far as this matchup, there are certainly a few things worth digging into. Being completely honest, I’m just glad I don’t have to write about Russell Wilson and the Broncos on another primetime game. I’m not sure how many more times I can stand watching a Broncos island game, but at least we won’t have to worry about that Thursday!

Saints @ Cardinals Props for TNF Week 7
Matchup | Pick | Risk |
Saints @ Cardinals | Alvin Kamara o98.5 Rush/Receiving Yards (-110) | 1 Unit |
Saints @ Cardinals | Kyler Murray o245.5 Pass Yards (-115) | 1 Unit |
TNF Week 7 Prop #1 – Alvin Kamara o98.5 Rushing/Receiving Yards (-110)
I’ll note that this line isn’t actually available at time of writing, but I’m assuming it will come in right around the 97-99 range. Receiving is currently set at 33.5 and rushing at 64.5, so safe to assume it will end up landing somewhere in this range. That being said, it’s a great spot for Kamara. The Taysom Hill threat remains, but that generally comes into play more in the redzone, which is why I want to take advantage of Kamara’s yards props rather than his touchdown props. His TD equity is just killed by Taysom, something that season long Kamara managers have became quite familiar with as of late.
Betting the combined yardage here gives us some nice wiggle room with the game script as well. Should NO be trailing, they will certainly utilize Kamara out of the backfield with their depleted WR core. If they’re leading, expect a steady dose of Kamara on the ground. This is a good spot for the best player on the team, on an offense that needs some big play ability. Look for Kamara to crush on Thursday.
Elite usage for Alvin Kamara since coming back from rib injury two weeks ago:
* Team-high 15 targets for a 24.6% share
* 70% of the RB carries, for 42 total carries
* 42-202-0 rushing, 12-116-0 receiving result— Adam Levitan (@adamlevitan) October 17, 2022
TNF Week 7 Prop #2 – Kyler Murray o245.5 Passing Yards (-115)
The Cardinals will finally be getting back star WR DeAndre Hopkins for this game after serving his 6 game suspension. This is going to be big for Kyler Murray, a lot bigger than people realize. If we take a look at Hopkins past impact on Murray, it is quite telling. In 26 games with Kyler, Hopkins has secured 157 catches for 1,979 yards and 14 TD’s.
I tell you this to make a case for Kyler this week, and trust me, he is not on my good side right now! Sunday was a huge letdown, with Arizona failing to even score a touchdown against a bad Seattle defense. I’m going to put my faith in Kyler to bounce back with his #1 option back in the lineup, and take the over on his 245.5 prop. These QB overs on island games have been nice for us this season, so let’s look to keep it rolling Thursday!
