Green Bay Packers Betting Outlook
The Packers started the season off on the wrong foot when they were upset by the Vikings in a Week One divisional matchup. The Packers entered Week 1 as the favorite in the Packers vs Vikings odds but lost outright.
The questions began flowing. Is Rodgers going to struggle without Adams? Will the Packers lose the division to the Vikings this season? The Packers bounced back against the Bears in Week 2 and won and covered without a sweat.
But coming into Week 3, they will have their biggest test yet with facing the undefeated Tom Brady and the Buccaneers. With Godwin and Evans out, the Packers’ defense will have a lighter load than expected.

The Packers struggled to get drives started versus the Vikings, and it may have been due to the fact that they were playing a pass-first mentality on offense. Around 75% of their drives began with a pass play and they quickly fell in a hole on second down causing the offense to play catch up each series. In Week 2, they went to a run-first mentality, letting Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon thrive via the run game.
The Packers need to get back to their running game and give Aaron Jones the ball. When it is in his hands, the Packers will be in a good position to potentially upset Tom Brady.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers Betting Outlook
Another year has come and gone, and Tom Brady is still an elite quarterback. He has many weapons on the Tampa Bay offense that makes his just job much easier than a lot of quarterbacks around the league. But regardless of his tools, Brady still manages to execute their offensive game plan to a T.
Whether it is attacking opposing defenses via the pass or run, the Bucs do it well. Leonard Fournette is having himself quite the season, averaging over 30 carries per game. This ground and pound type of offense has opened up Tampa Bay’s electric passing attack with weapons in Evans, Godwin, and Jones.
Bucs WR Chris Godwin is officially OUT Sunday against the Packers.
No Mike Evans, no Chris Godwin and we'll see on Julio Jones.

Will the Packers be able to focus mostly on the running game versus this Bucs offense because of these missing pieces for Week 3? The total is listed at 41.5 in the Packers vs Buccaneers odds.
Packers vs Buccaneers Pick & Prediction
I expect both teams to focus heavily on the running game, which is why I’m taking the under at DraftKings Sportsbook.
-For Green Bay, let Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon handle majority of the workload versus this Buccaneers defense.
-For Tampa Bay, the motto of the weekend should be “Let Leonard Loose”, the first two weeks he has shown he can be used as a workhorse.
