Miami Dolphins Betting Outlook
The Dolphins enter Week 4 as one of the two teams that remain unbeaten. They have put together quite the portfolio of wins this early in the season, outlasting both the Ravens and Bills in back-to-back weeks.
Miami has a new identity this season with the help of their offseason signing in Tyreek Hill. The addition has allowed Jaylen Waddle to flourish with the help of his college quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa. Waddle has racked up 342 yards receiving and three touchdowns this season.

It is quite the surprise that the Dolphins enter Thursday’s matchup as underdogs in the Dolphins vs Bengals odds. Especially versus the 1-2 Bengals, who have looked less than average in some areas.
The weakness for the Dolphins lies within their secondary. PFF ranks the Miami defense among the league’s worst in terms of coverage and tackling. Look to see if the Dolphins can stop Joe Burrow and his dangerous wide receivers, Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins.
Cincinnati Bengals Betting Outlook
The Bengals were the Cinderella team of the 2021 season. Entering the playoffs as the AFC North Division Champions, no one expected them to make a run against teams like the Titans or Chiefs. After their magical playoff run fell short, losing to the Rams in Super Bowl LVI, their expectations were quite high for the 2022 season.
Those expectations quickly rescinded after the team started 1-2.
As we close out September, the high-powered offense that we saw last year hasn’t come to full potential. Their running game is the main reason. Their starting running back, Joe Mixon, is only averaging 2.9 yards per carry but majority of the fault lies on their offensive line.

They are graded as bottom 10 in the league in run blocking and don’t do much better on the pass blocking side of things. Look for key mismatches on the Bengals offensive line, Burrow has been sacked 15 times and knocked down 17 times. Leading the league in sacks allowed, the “new and improved” Bengals offensive line is looking far from improved.
Dolphins vs Bengals Pick & Prediction
Teams have been exploiting the Dolphins defense via the passing game, especially when pressured. One thing is certain, Joe Burrow will be pressured.
The Dolphins have allowed the second most yards on defense in the NFL. Majority of these yards coming via the passing game.
Alternate POV: Bengals have one of the worst offensive lines in the game. It is tough to back a four-point spread in this matchup, especially when the Dolphins have had a great “bend but don’t break” mentality on defense, causing turnovers when they need it most.
A couple of player props stick out to me in this AFC matchup because of the positional advantages being brought to light. Take a look at these Joe Mixon and Ja’Marr Chase props in the Dolphins vs Bengals odds at DraftKings Sportsbook.
Best Picks: Joe Mixon Over 3.5 Receptions (+135) 1 unit, Ja’Marr Chase Longest Reception Over 24.5 yards (-110) 1 unit at DraftKings Sportsbook
