NHL Player Stacks For Your Lineup This Week
When building a salary cap lineup, you will need to find the right NHL player stack to increase your chances of being in the pay zone. I have identified some of the stacks for this week and determined which one I prefer. Most of the time, you’ll only be able to fit a maximum of 2 different stacks in your lineup, so choose wisely which stack is for you.
Minnesota Wild Stack
Line Stack // PP1
3 Games: @EDM, @OTT, @TOR
$62,700 TOTAL // 31.4% OF YOUR SALARY
3 Key Reasons
- The Minnesota Wild have been fantastic this year and could realistically compete for a Stanley Cup by adding another piece at the trade deadline. The Wild will be on the road for all three of their games, which is not optimal, but the Wild have a 14-9-2 record on the away side.
- The Wild are facing the Oilers who are ranked 9th in GAA (3.06) and the Senators who are ranked 11th in GAA (2.98).
- Kaprizov has 19 points in his last 12 games!!! He’s been crushing it this season and should be considered in the MVP race.
Dallas Stars Stack
Line Stack // PP1
3 Games: @ARI, @WPG, @NSH
$55,500 TOTAL // 27.8% OF YOUR SALARY
3 Key Reasons
- You’re getting a very nice discount on all three of these players. Based on production in the past 20 games, Robertson and Pavelski should be priced in the top 10 of players. Luckily, these two players do not hold huge name value such as players like Auston Matthews, which gives you the opportunity to take advantage of their price.
- We all know Klingberg has been a bit of a disappointment this season, but his price at $4,600/Game is absurdly low. This ranks Klingberg as the 52nd ranked defenceman. Klingberg still plays powerplay 1 for the Stars, which means he will have an amplified amount of opportunities to produce fantasy points, especially against the Coyotes.
- The Stars have been on a pretty solid heater as of lately winning 8 out of their last 11 games.
