Use these player salaries as context for building your week 8 OwnersBox lineups. With salaries being set each Monday, they cannot be changed. Injuries and depth chart movement has impacted the value of these players salary significantly.
- It took him a while to get going, but Ryan Tannehill is back. With AJ Brown back to full health and Julio Jones being close, this offense is finally back to full strength. Take advantage of his price being so low on Ownersbox and even stack him with AJ Brown again, that connection should continue to dominate.
- Matt Ryan made some great throws against the Dolphins last week, leading the Falcons to a W. In his past 4 games, Ryan has 10 passing touchdowns to 0 interceptions and throwing for about 300 yards per game. However, this Panthers defense is very good and I expect to see a low scoring, grind it out type of game. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Ryan’s streak of multiple touchdown passes to end this week.
- Jalen Hurts is the only player left in the league to finish in the top 12 at his position every single week of the year. That’s some incredible consistency. He may not be a great real life quarterback, but his rushing floor mixed with garbage time points are enough to make him a consistently strong play.
