Use these player salaries as context for building your week 5 OwnersBox lineups. With salaries being set each Monday, they cannot be changed. Injuries and depth chart movement has impacted the value of these players salary significantly.
- George Kittle just isn’t as impactful in this offense as he used to be. He is a little banged up, but Deebo Samuel has just become such a large portion of this offense that Kittle’s production has been mediocre at best. With 10 or fewer fantasy points in 3 of 4 games, I’m going to be avoiding Kittle until he manages to turn his season around. Either look towards some cheaper options, or spend up for Kelce this week.
- Over the past 2 weeks, Dalton Schultz has had a 28% and 36% target share of this offense. That’s exactly what you look for to get some consistent production out of the tight end position. Until Michael Gallup gets back, I would be willing to start Schultz with confidence, and at just $4,600 on OwnersBox, he’s a steal of a pick.
- Mike Gesicki has been sneaky good these past couple weeks. With 15 receptions and over 130 yards in the past 2 weeks, those are some pretty rare numbers for the tight end position. He clearly looks like Brissett’s favourite target, and now with a matchup against the Bucs depleted secondary, I love Gesicki this week. If you’re looking for a semi decent tight end play for cheap, he’s your guy
