Use these player salaries as context for building your Week 17 OwnersBox lineups. There is a lot of value at the QB position this week, with plenty of options in the middle tier. Matchups and passing game scripts are most important when evaluating quarterbacks week to week.
- It looks like rookie Trey Lance has a good chance to get the start this week against the Texans, we’ve seen his rushing upside before, he should be a QB1 if he gets the nod.
- After the monstrous game Rashaad Penny had for Pete Carroll this past week I’d expect to see a lot of the run against the Lions. Russell Wilson is a risky weekly play right now and I don’t see the passing volume being high in this matchup.
- Matthew Stafford loves to push the ball deep and the Ravens secondary has been notorious for giving up the big play this season. He could be the number 1 quarterback on the week.
