4 Tight Ends You Need In Your OwnersBox Lineup
It’s Week 6 and if you haven’t won money on OwnersBox yet, this week is your week. I’m going to give you four tight ends that you should include in your salary cap lineup.
Noah Fant – $4,600
Noah Fant, of the Denver Broncos is one of my favourite tight ends for this week. The Broncos are at home against the Raiders. This is a divisional game and both teams will fight for a win to take lead in the division spot. The Raiders are going to be in shambles after their head coach ‘resigned’, giving the Broncos the upper hand. Fant is averaging 10 fantasy points per game. Last week he caught three out of four targets, for 20 yards, and he played on 95 percent of the offensive snaps. He wasn’t used much against the Steelers but from his performance of when he did play, they will want to use him more this week. The Broncos will continue to use Fant as the season continues. Especially with Jerry Jeudy injured, Fant will become a big part of the offence this year.
Tyler Higbee – $4,500
I love Tyler Higbee this week, and although he hasn’t been targeted much by Stafford, he’s going to be very valuable to the Rams against the Giants. He is the primary tight end who plays for almost every snap. Higbee always seems to find the end zone. The Giants defense has proven to be terrible against tight ends. The Giants have given up the seventh most fantasy points to tight ends this season. With the Giants offence being very limited, the Rams will have a lot of time with the ball and should be targeting Higbee throughout the game.
Mark Andrews – $6,000
Mark Andrews is averaging 16 fantasy points this season. He is a top 5 TE this season and the Ravens definitely won’t stop using him against the Chargers this week. Andrews caught 11 out of 13 targets for 147 yards and two touchdowns last week against the Colts. He has proven to be consistent and will be a necessity in helping to beat the Chargers. This season could be his career high if he continues on this track. As a tight end, he is more expensive than the first two guys, but you can bank on Andrews to put up the points to help you get in the pay zone this week.
Mo Alie-Cox – $4,100
Mo Alie-Cox was the most targeted TE for the Colts last week. When Alie-Cox is used, he demonstrates that he’s reliable as a potential offensive threat. After his two touchdowns in Week 4 and his three receptions for 50 yards in Week 5, he is starting to become a break out for the Colts. He isn’t afraid of the end zone, and with his size, it makes him an easy target for Wentz. Jack Doyle has not been looking great. He caught one target last week and is averaging 5 fantasy points per game. If this continues, we could see Mo could play a lot more this season.
Good luck this week and let’s win some money!
The OwnersBox SuperFlex Salary Cap game is here! The SuperFlex format eliminates the randomness and unpredictability of the defense and kicker positions while maximizing what fantasy players love most, offense! For beginners, it’s a much more appealing game option with a more offensive outlook, and for experts, it takes away the luck and randomness, making it more skilled and highly competitive.
