If you want to make some money this weekend, definitely check out some of those contests. Now let’s get to business. This article will highlight 2 wide receivers you need in your Ownersbox/DFS contests this weekend.
Pick #1: Byron Pringle vs. Buffalo Bills (OwnersBox Salary: $5,200):
If you’re looking for some bang for your buck this weekend, Byron Pringle is your guy. There’s nothing overly exciting about Pringle, but he has been on an upward trend lately in this Chiefs offense. After struggling to consistently produce for most of the season, he has performed well in his last 4 games. Pringle has 19 receptions for 203 yards and 4 touchdowns in that span. An even more encouraging nugget is that he has been on the field for 64% of the team’s offensive snaps. Pringle has solidified himself as the number 3 option behind Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce. While the Bills defense is no easy assignment, I firmly believe that Pringle will see a lot of activity in this matchup. For $5,200, take a run on him this weekend, and I’m confident you won’t be disappointed.
Pick #2: Allen Lazard vs. San Francisco 49ers (OwnersBox Salary: $5,600)
In the last 2 months, Allen Lazard has emerged as the clear #2 wideout for the Green Bay Packers. Since Week 14, Lazard has averaged 4.2 receptions, 58 yards, and a touchdown per game on 5.6 targets (Pro Football Network). Going even further, Lazard has 70 or more yards in three of his last five games. When it comes to red-zone targets, Lazard is 2nd on the team with 14. Allen Lazard has had to step up in a more prominent role since the Packers lost tight end Robert Tonyan to a season-ending knee injury. I really like Lazard’s outlook for this matchup against the 49ers, as most of the attention will be on Davante Adams this weekend. Lazard will see softer coverage and be able to get open easier. On OwnersBox, Lazard has had three 20+ point performances in the last 5 weeks. For $5,600, get Allen Lazard in your lineups, folks!
