2 Undervalued Players – Super Wild Card Weekend
Playoff time is finally here, your fantasy leagues are finished, and the OwnersBox Super Wild Card Weekend contest is your best way to make money this weekend. I’m going to look at two players who are being undervalued based on their salaries.
Tyler Boyd ($5,200) vs. Las Vegas Raiders
If you believe in the Cincinnati Bengals this week, you need to believe in Tyler Boyd. Since October 24th, there have only been 2 games where Boyd hasn’t seen 5 or more targets. As the cheapest option of the three-headed receiving monster in Cincinnati, I think that Boyd is a no-doubt play this week. In his last three games, Boyd has found his way into the endzone, and at his price, all it takes is one score for us to be happy with his performance. Boyd should help exploit the Raiders in cover 3 and rack up some catches as well.
Pat Freiermuth ($5,400) @ Kansas City Chiefs
Freiermuth compiled 15 targets across the final two games of the regular season. Although he missed the contest against the Chiefs in week 16, with Big Ben’s limited skill set at this point in his career, if Freiermuth can continue to be one of Ben’s favorite targets in the short passing game, he should rack up enough catches to make this a good spot. Steve Spagnuolo, the Kansas City Chiefs DC, loves to dial up pressure, and this should be no different with an immobile QB. Should Big Ben continue to get the ball out to his receivers as quick as he does, Pat should have a great game.
