3 Hitters For Your OwnersBox MLB Lineups (May 6th)
Friday Fastball is back, and here are three hitters you need to put in your OwnersBox MLB lineups.
Kyle Tucker $5,500 vs Detroit (RHP Beau Brieske)
Tucker has had a good start to the season, averaging 7.8 FPTS/Game on the OwnersBox platform. Dusty Baker came out and said he likes hitting Tucker in the 6/7 spot because there is always going to be runners on for him, giving us a good opportunity to cash in on some RBI. Tucker is hitting .283 against RHP and a wOBA of .372 and wRC+ of 153. Tucker is much better against righties and that’s why it’s a perfect spot to take him.
Brieske has an xERA of 5.23 and a FIP of 7.00 making this a matchup that the Astros should feast on.
Manny Machado $5,4000 vs Miami (RHP Sandy Alcantara)
Manny Machado cannot stop hitting. Averaging 23 FPTS over his last 3 games, and 13.2 on the season, the Padres third baseman is off to a red hot start. A .374 AVG 7 HR 20 RBI 25 R and 5 SB have him near the top of NL MVP discussions after the first month. Macahado is hitting .329 against RHP with 2 of his HR and 11 of his RBI. His wOBA is .403 and his wRC+ is a career best 167 against righties.
Although Alcantara is a good arm, Machado is hitting .333 off of him (only in 3 at bats). I expect Machado to keep up this crazy pace tonight.
Willy Adames $4,900 @ Atlanta (RHP Jesse Chavez)
Maybe my favorite player in the whole league, Willy Adames is averaging 25 FPTS over his last 3 games and 10.8 on the season. The red hot Milwaukee Brewers had a nice get right series where they blew the lowly Cincinnati Reds out of the water. Now that the whole team is scorching hot, they make their way to Atlanta for a date with Jesse Chavez and the Braves. 7 of Adames’ 8 homers have come off of RHP, and is hitting .344 on the road against righties. His .418 wOBA and 172 wRC+ show that he is a nightmare for RHP.
I’m betting on WIlly Adames to light up the Braves on this wonderful Friday night.
